There are so many awe-inspiring, super-quick cars available on the market today, that it can be tough to decide which one stands out amongst the pack. The vehicle leasing industry is also benefitting from an increasing portfolio of performance cars, including these seven-speed demons which are guaranteed to set your pulse racing from 0-60mph in less than four seconds:

BMW M8 Convertible (0-60mph in 3.1 seconds)

A fusion of the much-loved luxury feel of BMW with heart-stopping racetrack performance, BMW’s new M8 Convertible is an undeniable jaw-dropper. With a spectacular presence on the road and the power under the bonnet to transform any journey, it’s a sheer delight to drive. For those who like to be heard as much as seen on the road, the M8 Convertible includes an ear-splitting quad-pipe M Sport exhaust system with four enhanced audio experiences to savour. With a stunning 625bhp and 750Nm of torque, the M8 Convertible’s 4.4 litre V8 turbo engine can go from 0-60mph in only 3.1 seconds.

Audi R8 Coupe (0-60mph in 3.2 seconds)

Few other cars provide a 100% supercar experience than the Audi R8 Coupe. Although it doesn’t quite have the brake horsepower to match the BMW M8 Convertible at 564bhp, its 5.2-litre V10 engine and rapid automatic gearbox is a sheer delight to rev up. Aside from what’s under the bonnet, the R8 Coupe benefits from Audi’s high-end interior work, with a slick, contemporary dashboard and lavish leather, carbon-fibre and aluminium adorning the rest of the ‘cockpit’.
With a starting price of around £125,000 to buy one of these babies outright, the economics of leasing an Audi R8 Coupe suddenly look much more appealing!

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Roadster (0-60mph in 3.3 seconds)

What has the iconic German manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz got in store for us with the new AMG GT Roadster? Historically, Mercedes’ AMG range has seen saloon-style vehicles pack a punch with monstrous engines shoehorned under the bonnet. This time, they’ve gone one better and popped a beast of a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine inside a two-seater AMG GT Roadster.
This seven-speed, rear-wheel-drive Roadster is a breath-taking drive. At its highest spec, the AMG GT Roadster is capable of competing with McLaren’s 570S Spider for speed. If that’s not enough, you’ve also got that much-revered German manufacturing reliability to fall back on.

Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (0-60mph in 3.5 seconds)

You might not think it was possible, but Porsche has managed to take the roof off one of the world’s finest luxury sports cars and still manage to create one of the best performance cars of the modern era. The new Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet features a folding fabric roof that can retract in no more than 12 seconds – fancy.

Opt for the Sport Chrono gearbox with your 911 Carrera Cabriolet and you’ll be able to reach 62mph in just 3.5 seconds. This Cabriolet manages to feel exceptionally durable, despite its lighter aluminium chassis, and with a carbon-copy of the Porsche 992’s interior, you won’t be disappointed inside either.

Porsche Cayenne Coupe (0-60mph in 3.7 seconds)

The first of three high-performance coupe SUVs that we’re going to review, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe is one of the newest entrants to the niche, attempting to take its own slice of the pie from both Audi and BMW – more on them later. The Cayenne Coupe is, unsurprisingly, a smaller version of its larger Cayenne SUV.
The Coupe version is considerably less bulky, at least visually, with a new sloping roofline that takes a couple of crucial centimetres off the Cayenne SUV’s height. Aside from its subtle curves, the Coupe’s Sport Chrono gearbox will reach 62mph from a standing start in just 3.7 seconds.

Audi RS Q8 (0-60mph in 3.8 seconds)

If you’re getting to a time in your life when a raised driving position, space and comfort are more appealing to you than sitting on the floor of a sports car, Audi’s RS Q8 should tick all the right boxes. This 592bhp 4x4 caters brilliantly for the growing performance SUV market that we’ve already mentioned.
Its power puts it on par with the new Porsche Cayenne Coupe and above and beyond the Range Rover Sport SVR. A mighty 800Nm of torque helps the RS Q8 eat up the miles with ease anywhere, while the six configurable driving programmes give you the flexibility to alter the engine, transmission, steering, air suspension, all-wheel steering and sound pattern as you see fit.

BMW X6 M (0-60mph in 3.8 seconds)

The second iteration of the BMW X6 M has been released and the German giants appear hell-bent on redefining expectations in the performance SUV niche. With 17bhp more than the original X6 M and 52lb ft more torque, there can be no denying that the latest X6 M is a truly capable model, with power that makes a mockery of its size.
This all-wheel-drive vehicle might not be to everyone’s taste. After all, BMW opted to sacrifice a large chunk of rear cargo space and headroom to incorporate coupe styling. Style is the operative word here. It oozes class and sophistication, which is much more important to X6 M drivers than a few more kilos of boot space.
