The new Jeep Wrangler is a 4x4 SUV for serious off-road driving. New exterior, new interior & new tech features of the Jeep Wrangler

Upfront, the new generation features a very long bumper, which is very unique to any other SUV you see available in the market today. Then there is the iconic round headlamps and a typical, vertical seven-slot grille at the front that has always been there since the very first-generation model - the Jeep YJ (1986-1995). Premium LED headlamps are standard on the new Wrangler, including LED fog lamps, rear lamps and daytime running lamps on the fender. The length is at 4.88 metres (16ft) for the four-door version, and 4.33 metres (14.2ft) for the two-door version. Ultimately, they are two different lengths, the four-door version is better equipped to fit more passengers, whereas the two-door version is better for off-road driving.

Overland and Sahara both come with 18-inch wheels and tyres as standard, while 17-inch polished wheels with black pockets are standard on Rubicon models. Get this- you can also remove the doors and the roof so that you experience driving “all open” as if you were driving in a Safari. You can also fold down the windshield to truly experience open-air freedom.

Just to give you a bit of insight about the overall ground clearance, specifically on the Rubicon model, it boasts a 44-degree approach angle (up11), 27.8-degree breakover (up 5.8) [for the door door] and 37-degree departure angle (up 9), with 277 mm of ground clearance and 200mm of articulation.

The all new Jeep Wrangler is available in 10 different paint options; Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic, Firecracker Red, Hellayella, Ocean Blu, Punk’n Metallic, Mojito Green, String gray (see below).

Moving on into the interior, the whole interior has been modernised and looks more cleaner than any of the other previous models. The steering wheel can be manually adjusted according to what best suits the driver with a smooth process, and the large windshield offers drivers such a unique view at the front. The dashboard feels cleaner, more vertical/upright, more rugged and uncluttered than before.

The Wrangler incorporates a new cabin, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes Apple Car Play and Android Auto, followed by a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster in front of the steering wheel. These interior features show that Jeep are not only trying to appeal to a broader audience, not just people who want to some serious off-roading, but also people who are in the market for an everyday automobile. The new wrangler offers 31.7 feet of cargo behind the rear seats and 72.4 with the rear seats folded down.
